Imersa na natureza e com uma vista espetacular sobre os arredores, esta igreja foi constru\u00edda entre os s\u00e9culos VII e IX e \u00e9 dedicada a S\u00e3o Dami\u00e3o, um m\u00e9dico e m\u00e1rtir. <\/p>\n<p>A Igreja de S\u00e3o Dami\u00e3o tem tamb\u00e9m um forte v\u00ednculo com S\u00e3o Francisco e Santa Clara. Este \u00e9 o local onde, segundo a tradi\u00e7\u00e3o, Cristo falou com S\u00e3o Francisco e onde o Santo escreveu parte do C\u00e2ntico das Criaturas.
